About the role
Brighton Jetty Sculptures- Curator PositionBrighton Jetty Sculptures is South Australia’s largest sculpture exhibition with 2027 marking the 20th anniversary event. The annual exhibition, held along the Esplanade in Brighton, features more than 200 sculptures and reaches over 80,000 visitors every year. The 2027 exhibition will run from 20-31 January 2027.
Role OverviewThe Curator is responsible for curating and overseeing the delivery of Brighton Jetty Sculptures in 2027 in alignment with the event’s vision, rules of entry and community expectations. The role requires curatorial experience, professional judgement, creative leadership, and a practical approach to delivering a large-scale exhibition.
This a paid, short-term contract with the curator required to work across scheduled dates between 16 November 2026 and 1 February 2027.
To be eligible for this role, applicants require prior curatorial experience and current insurance.
