Female Disability and Mental Health Support Worker

Kefi Supports is looking for Multiple Support Workers, who are willing to work with individuals who come from all walks of life. 

If you have the flexibility to work AM/PM/Passive/Active Overnights on a weekly roster and looking for a rewarding role we want to hear from you.

We are looking to hire female support workers for a female-only team. Applicants should have availability to work passive nights as well as day shifts.

As a Support worker your role involves supporting and empowering people with disabilities to achieve their goals.

Qualifications & experience required:

• NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’ Certificate (Mandatory) 

• New Worker - NDIS Induction Module Certificate (Mandatory) 

• Certificate III Individual Support or willing to enroll within 6 months of starting employment

• First aid (Mandatory) 

• CPR (due every 12month) (Mandatory) 

• NDIS Disability Worker Screening (Mandatory) 

• Working with Children Check (Mandatory) 

• Safe Environments for Children & Young People ‘Through Their Eyes’ Certificate (Mandatory) 

• Drivers license and own vehicle

• Open availability to work within a 24/7 roster

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Personal care - Supervise, prompt or assist Participant with hygiene 

• Community access - Taking Participants to activities and appointments in the community 

• Workplace Support 

• Respite 

• Life skills training

• Ensure participant notes are accurate and kept up to date

• Open availability to work within a 24/7 roster
