Oncology Nurse

Mayday Healthcare is currently partnering with a leading home-based infusion provider to recruit an experienced Oncology Nurse for a permanent part-time position (2 days per week).

Working within the community, you'll provide chemotherapy, immunotherapy and other infusion treatments to patients in the comfort of their own homes.

You'll typically see 3-4 patients per day, spending meaningful time with each patient throughout their treatment. This role offers true continuity of care, allowing you to build long-term relationships while delivering specialist oncology care in a relaxed, one-on-one environment.

You'll work autonomously throughout the day, with ongoing support from an experienced Nurse Coordinator, Team Leader and dedicated Pharmacy team.

To be successful, you'll have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

• Minimum 2 years' recent Oncology and/or Infusion Nursing experience

• Experience administering chemotherapy and/or immunotherapy

• Excellent cannulation skills

• Confidence working independently

• Full Australian Driver's Licence

• A reliable vehicle suitable for community travel

• Full Australian working rights (please note sponsorship is not available at this time)

As part of the role, you'll also be comfortable securely storing clinical equipment and medications at home. All required storage equipment and compliance systems are provided.
