Site Foreman

We are looking for an experienced Site Foreman / Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis. Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for day-to-day site supervision across our commercial and industrial projects, with a strong carpentry and formwork background to lead and work alongside our self-perform crew.

Site Supervision & Leadership

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities across commercial and industrial construction projects

• Lead and manage the self-perform crew including concreters, formworkers and steel fixers

• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants to ensure work is delivered on programme

• Report daily progress to the Director and flag any issues or risks early

• Enforce site safety, WHS compliance and quality standards at all times

• Manage material deliveries, plant and equipment scheduling on site

Carpentry & Formwork

• Perform and oversee all carpentry and formwork activities to a high standard

• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with structural drawings, specifications and Australian Standards

• Assist in the reading and interpretation of architectural and structural drawings on site

• Identify and communicate scope issues or design conflicts to the Director promptly

Safety & Compliance

• Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with the Work Health and Safet Act 2011 (Qld)

• Conduct and document site inductions, toolbox talks and safety inspections

• Ensure all workers on site hold appropriate licences, qualifications and White Cards

• Report all incidents, near misses and hazards immediately

Essential

• Certificate III in Carpentry (essential)

• Minimum 4 years experience in commercial or industrial construction

• Proven experience supervising crews and coordinating subcontractors on site

• Strong knowledge of formwork, concrete and structural construction

• Current White Card

• Current Queensland driver's licence

• Strong communication and leadership skills — ability to lead by example

Desirable

• Forklift licence

• Elevated work platform (EWP) licence

• Experience with tilt panel or warehouse construction

• Previous site foreman or leading hand experience
