Role Description
We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a high-performing Talent Acquisition team at RPI.  This role would suit a Recruitment Consultant who not only enjoys filling business-crucial roles, but also craves partnering with key stakeholders across an organisation.

Located in our Sydney office, you’ll report to RPI’s Talent Acquisition Senior Manager, and work alongside our Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, the Executive Leadership Team and Directors.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Managing end-to-end recruitment activities, including advertising, applicant screening, shortlist presentation, market mapping/headhunting, reference checking, and overseeing the candidate offer process.
• Liaising with RPI’s People & Culture team, allowing them to complete new-employee onboarding activities.
• Providing expert guidance, support and consultation to hiring managers, including advice regarding current trends in the Construction & Property industry.
• Maintaining relationships with agencies, whilst minimising their use.
• Proactively Talent Pooling candidates.

Candidate Profile
This role would suit an existing Talent Acquisition Specialist, or an agency recruiter looking for their first in-house recruitment position.

Ideally, you’ll have experience recruiting in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Architecture, Quantity Surveying and/or other related fields.  However, we still welcome applications from recruiters with other white-collar, professional services experience.  Recruitment Agency experience is highly desirable.

You’ll also need:

• Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with Executives, Directors and other senior stakeholders in the business.
• High attention to detail with a forward-thinking mentality, allowing you to anticipate and proactively solve problems (don’t panic – if you’re new to internal recruitment, you’ll be coached on how to do this effectively!)
• A customer-focussed mindset, agility and resilience. These traits will help you navigate a fast-paced environment.
• A willingness to work closely as part of our team, and support one another.  We’re quick to help our peers, regardless of the task.  We’re not perfect, but we work together without egos.
