Gordonvale Family Medical Centre is an established family owned general practice servicing Gordonvale and surrounds. We’re an easy drive from Cairns and surrounding suburbs against the flow of traffic. We have a hardworking team of GPs, nurses and excellent administration support. We can offer the applicant a casual role with an experienced team that are dedicated to supporting the health needs of our community.

About the Role

We're seeking a casual registered nurse.

Duties include but not limited to:

Health assessments

Care plan preparation

Immunisations

Assisting in minor procedures

Wound dressings

Spirometry

Maintenance of clinical documentation

Patient Counselling/education

Diabetic health checks

About You

Current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse

Applicants are to be consistently warm, caring and empathetic with patients, fellow nurses and administration

We desire an individual who can work independently and as a team member

Consistent demonstration of a professional attitude

Prior experience working in a general practice is desirable

Experience with care plans and health assessments

Vaccination certification
