About the Role:

At Peters we are passionate about making quality products. We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Quality Technologist to join on a max term contract for a period of 12 months.  You will be working as part of the results-oriented QA team that ensures Peters produce high quality and safe products.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain site specific sensory requirements;
• Maintaining Lab ICP;
• Completing laboratory analyses including chemical and microbiological testing;
• Maintenance of quality systems as part of the new product development process;
• Maintain ongoing verification of in line test methods ;
• Working with key stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure compliance with standards; 
• Contributing to the site Food Safety and Quality System, supporting site internal, external and GMP audits;
• Supporting other quality activities as required. 

About You:

• Tertiary degree qualification in Food Science, microbiology, biochemistry or related discipline;
• Preferred 1-2 years experience in a similar role within a FMCG; 
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environment and respond quickly and effectively; 
• Strong computer literacy skills and an appetite to learn new systems;
• Willingness to demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm;
• Self-driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook and a focus on quality; and strong organisational skills.
