Electrical Switchboard Fitter

The opportunity

As an Electrical Switchboard Fitter at Elliot Controls', you will play a crucial role in the assembly, installation and maintenance of electrical switchboards and control panels. This full-time position is based in Dandenong South, VIC.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble electrical MSSB switchboards and BMS control panels to client specification

• Interpret electrical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate installation

• Liaise with clients and project managers to deliver high-quality work on time

• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant electrical safety standards

• Maintain detailed records and documentation of all work performed

What we're looking for

• Qualified Electrical fitter with a minimum of 2 years' experience in switchboard assembly and installation

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, switchgear and control panel components

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and other technical documents

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and team members

• Commitment to safety and attention to detail in all work practices
