Assistant Store Manager

About the role

As the Assistant Store Manager, you will help lead the store team to deliver and exceed store sales targets by providing customers an exceptional in-store and online experience.

Key responsibilities

• Team Leadership

• P&L Responsibility

• Financial Reporting

• Deliver on commercial performance and viability of the business

• Drive ongoing delivery of professional, courteous, and sincere customer service standards

• Capitalise on sales opportunities to ensure the store meets and exceeds sales targets

• Manage staff across rosters, recruitment and professional development

About you

• A minimum of 3 years of Store Management experience (Bulky Goods experience will be viewed favourably)

• Full Australian Work Rights

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate team members

• Strong communication and influencing skills

• Experienced with stock replenishment and inventory management

• Entrepreneurial by nature with a drive to succeed financially

• Experienced with merchandising and ticketing disciplines within a hard or bulky goods environment

• The ability to review, interpret and act upon retail and financial performance results

• A true team player who understands "there's no I in team."

• Experience in Pool products and services is not essential but would be viewed favourably
