About the role

We are looking for someone who is prepared to work a minimum of 0.5 FTE per fortnight on a permanent basis and who has already gained experience in Rehabilitation.

Your main duties will include:

• Provision of general and specialist Rehabilitation nursing requiring a large range of clinical skills
• Strong focus on goal setting and promotion of independence and carer training
• General holistic assessment, patient and family education with discharge planning to home the primary goal
• Lead a nursing team and role model the Mission & Values of Calvary Healthcare Tasmania

About you

• A patient and family-centred approach to care delivery and discharge planning
• Competency in clinical assessment, consultation, liaison and care provision along a continuum of care.
• A wide range of clinical skills and/or willingness to learn
• A strong commitment to customer service and risk management
• A commitment to their own learning and quality improvement and developing same in a large team of Enrolled & Registered Nurses Level 1
• Registered with APHRA
• Minimum of 24months experience in an acute care setting
