About the role
At Yalari, we believe education creates opportunities, strengthens communities and empowers future generations.For over 20 years, Yalari has supported Indigenous children from remote and regional communities to access some of Australia's leading boarding schools. Through strong partnerships with students, families, communities, schools and supporters, we walk alongside young people as they grow into leaders who positively impact their communities and beyond.
We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join our Leadership Team and help steward Yalari's financial sustainability and governance as we continue to grow our impact. The role also serves as Company Secretary and works closely with the Managing Director, Board and leadership team.
About the RoleThis is an opportunity for an experienced financial leader who values purpose as much as performance.You will provide strategic financial leadership across Yalari and its associated entities, ensuring strong financial management, effective governance and informed decision-making.
You will guide Yalari's financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting amp; investments, while leading a small Finance and Governance team.
Most importantly, you will play a key role in supporting Yalaris mission and ensuring our resources are managed with care, integrity and long-term sustainability.
About YouYou are a collaborative and values-led leader who enjoys partnering with others to achieve meaningful outcomes.You will bring:CPA or Chartered Accountant, with a relevant degreeSignificant experience in financial leadership and organisational stewardship.Strong governance, compliance and Board reporting experience.The ability to translate financial information into practical insights and advice.A relationship-focused leadership style built on trust, integrity and respect.Experience leading and developing teams.An appreciation of, and commitment to, the importance of Indigenous education and opportunity.
