Nursing will be fundamental to delivering that ambition.

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to help lead what comes next. Reporting to the Chief Executive and as a key member of the Executive Team, the CNO will play a defining role in shaping RMH’s strategy while setting the professional direction for nursing across RMH.

The CNO will bring a strong nursing voice to the Executive table, championing excellence in clinical practice, quality and safety, strengthening workforce capability and contributing to the strategic decisions that shape RMH.

Healthcare is changing rapidly. Increasing demand and complexity, workforce constraints, emerging technologies and evolving models of care require bold and different thinking. The CNO will lead nursing through this change. Harnessing research, innovation and digital intelligence to advance care and professional practice, rethink models of care and strengthen nursing’s impact across RMH and the broader health system.
