Key Responsibilities: 
•    Take ownership of an assigned section, preparing and cooking menu items to Santini's exacting standard during service.
•    Maintain consistency, quality and presentation across dishes, working efficiently under the pressure of a busy service.
•    Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with mise en place, stock rotation, and daily kitchen preparation.
•    Follow all food safety, hygiene, and WH&S procedures, including correct storage and labelling of stock.
•    Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked section, minimising wastage and controlling costs.
•    Support the training and development of Demi Chefs, Apprentices and junior kitchen team members.
•    Communicate effectively with Front of House and other kitchen team members to ensure smooth, well-timed service.

What You’ll Bring:
•    Trade qualification in commercial cookery with proven experience working a section in a busy, high-quality kitchen.
•    Experience in Italian or grill-style cookery is highly regarded, but not essential.
•    Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
•    Ability to work efficiently under pressure during a fast-paced, high-volume service.
•    Strong attention to detail and pride in food quality and presentation.
•    A team player with a positive attitude who can also guide and support junior chefs.
•    Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
