Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

IPC Maintenance is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join our team, for an exciting 6 month project with one of our top tier clients!

You must have solid fixed plant maintenance experience ideally backed with leading hand/supervisory experience. You will be a highly skilled and motivated tradesperson, with a positive attitude, commitment to health & safety and customer satisfaction will be admirable.

Commencing immediately! The hours for the role are 0500 – 13:30 Monday to Friday (non-negotiable) with an opportunity for overtime, on occasion with a call out roster. The site is based in Kwinana and would suit someone looking for local work and work-life balance. Excellent remuneration is on offer for the right candidate!

Responsibilities:

• Removal, installation and alignment of equipment

• Pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings and associated equipment

• Equipment inspections, fault finding and breakdown maintenance

• Planned and preventative maintenance

• Reading and interpreting drawings and technical information

• Working closely with supervisors and other trades

• Work independently with limited supervision

• Completing work in accordance with IPC and client safety requirements

Requirements:

•  Australian recognised trade qualification

• Solid industrial and fixed plant experience

• Current Australian Driver's Licence

• Construction White Card

• Strong commitment to workplace safety

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Ability to pass drug & alcohol screening

• Full Australian working rights
