Boilermaker / Coded Welder - FIFO Shutdown

About the Role

We are looking for skilled Boilermakers & Coded Welders to join our FIFO team for shutdown works at Murrin Murrin, north of Kalgoorlie.

Specifically:

Shutdown Dates: 11 September - 14 October.

Please note: Shutdown dates may be subject to minor changes.

You will play an important role in delivering safe, high-quality outcomes for our clients while upholding Ahrens' commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.

You will:

• Perform FCAW, GTAW and MMAW welding in accordance with approved WPS and client specifications.

• Complete structural fabrication, repairs and installation works.

• Carry out structural steel, piping and maintenance welding activities.

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, isometrics and welding procedures.

• Perform shutdown, maintenance and project work across fixed plant equipment.

• Produce high-quality workmanship while maintaining productivity and safety standards.

• Inspect and maintain welding equipment and fabrication tools.

• Work collaboratively with supervisors, mechanical fitters and site crews.

• Comply with all client, company and site safety requirements.

You possess:

• Construction White Card

• Current Australian driver's licence

• Working at Heights ticket

• Working in Confined Spaces ticket

• Australian Recognized Trade Certificate

• Experience working on major construction, energy, resources or infrastructure projects

• A strong focus on safety, quality and teamwork
