Key responsibilities

As an Electrician or Trade Assistant with GCorp Electrical Services, you will be responsible for:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings

• Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

• Conducting electrical testing and troubleshooting to identify faults and implement solutions

• Ensuring all work complies with relevant Australian electrical standards and safety regulations

• Collaborating with team members and other trades to complete projects on schedule and within budget

• Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used

• Assisting senior electricians and contributing to the professional development of junior team members

• Practising safe working methods and adhering to all workplace health and safety protocols

• Providing excellent customer service and clear communication with clients on site

What we're looking for

For Electrician positions, we require:

• Current electrical licence or certification recognised in New South Wales

• Sound knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safe working practices

• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to job sites

For Trade Assistant positions, we welcome:

• A keen interest in pursuing a career in the electrical trades

• Willingness to work towards obtaining relevant qualifications or apprenticeships

• Physical fitness and the ability to work in varied environments

• Basic understanding of electrical safety principles

• Reliable, punctual, and motivated attitude

• Strong communication skills and ability to take direction from experienced staff

• A valid driver's licence (preferred)
