Business Development Representative 

The BDR Team moves at pace and shares wins loudly. The team swaps what’s working, backs each other through the tough calls, and pushes one another to solve our customer problems. Driven, collaborative and never dull, when one member levels up, the whole team does. 

What you’ll do 

• Outbound Calls: Engage with our diverse customer base, utilising both inbound and outbound approaches to discover new opportunities. 
• Identifying Tailored Solutions: Be the problem-solver our customers need! Identify ways to assist them and provide personalised solutions for their current and future needs.  
• End-to-End Relationship Management: Own the entire relationship with assigned clients – from onboarding to implementation, training, adoption, and ensuring overall satisfaction.  
• Payment Process and Rewards Guidance: Guide customers through the seamless process of making their first payment and assist in exploring all the fantastic features of the pay.com.au platform.  
• Trusted Advisor: Establish yourself as a trusted advisor, ensuring the continued value of our products and services for our clients.  
• Collaborative Results-Focused Approach: Thrive in a collaborative environment, working towards both business and personal targets through teamwork and creative problem-solving. 

About You 

Experience & Qualifications 

• Enterprise Focus: Experience navigating complex organizational structures and engaging with C-Suite executives. 
• Persistence: Resilience and adaptability, with a constructive approach to working through objections and setbacks. 

Core Duties & Responsibilities 

• Strategic Prospecting: Researching and targeting Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) using advanced data enrichment. 
• Pipeline Management: Running tailored outbound sequences and effectively vetting leads against frameworks like Impulse Selling (5 Steps) Impulse Factors & SPIN Methodology. 
• Leadership & Mentorship: Supporting the coaching and shadowing of junior BDRs. 

Technical & Soft Skills 

• Tech Stack Fluency: Strong knowledge of modern CRMs (Salesforce), sales engagement platforms (AirCall), and data tooling (LinkedIn Sales) 
• Value-Based Messaging: Moving beyond basic cold calling to deliver consultative, solution-oriented pitches 
• Analytical Thinking: The ability to interpret engagement metrics, evaluate performance data, and alter targeting strategies accordingly.
