Graduate Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist

About the Position:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate / Junior Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist with 1-4 years of experience to join our Perth team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of Geotechnical site investigations and construction verification, as well as project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and conduct a wide range of fieldwork including site investigations, bearing capacity assessments and temporary stability assessments

• Proficient in geotechnical logging, interpretive reporting and managing site investigations

• Undertake factual and interpretive geotechnical reporting

• Conduct and communicate construction verification on foundations and other earthworks assessments

• Building lasting client relationships through delivery and communication

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering

• 1-4 years of experience Geotechnical Engineering

• Working knowledge of Geostudio and AutoCad would be advantageous

• Be able to work autonomously at times, managing clients, stakeholders and projects but with the support of the wider team

• Personable with good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to travel to project sites and other offices as needed

• Current Automatic Class C Drivers License
