About the role

Scott McAvaney is seeking an experienced Cladding Installer to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Marion, SA 5043. As a Cladding Installer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality external cladding solutions to our clients across a range of residential and commercial projects. This position is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards within agreed timelines.

What you'll be doing

• Installing various types of cladding materials eg- fibre cement and metal systems to building facades

• Preparing surfaces and structures to receive cladding, ensuring proper substrate preparation and weatherproofing measures

• Measuring, cutting and fitting cladding materials with precision and accuracy to design specifications

• Working safely at heights and on scaffolding, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and site protocols

• Collaborating with other trades and site teams to ensure coordinated project delivery and minimal disruption

• Inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards are met and finishing is to specification

• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order and managing materials efficiently

What we're looking for

• experience as a Cladding Installer would be beneficial but willing to train up that right person, that is willing to learn

• Competency and experience with a range of cladding materials and installation techniques

• Basic knowledge of tools and measurements

• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment safely and effectively

• A current driver's licence and reliable transportation to site locations

• Ability to work safely at heights and familiarity with scaffold and access equipment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality finishes

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions
