About the role
Serve with purpose. Grow through community.
Be part of the moments that shape a child's day. Every day, you welcome children into a safe and engaging environment where they can play, build friendships and grow in confidence before and after school. At Kids Early Learning Colyton you help create positive experiences that children and families can rely on, supporting them through Outside School Hours Care (6:30am - 9:30am and 2:00pm - 6:00pm).
As an OSHC Assistant, you support the day to day running of the service. You set up activities, prepare resources, supervise children during play and group programs, and help maintain a clean, safe and organised environment. You support children travelling to and from school, assist with meals and routines, administer minor first aid when required, and share important information with families and team members. You also contribute ideas for activities that keep children engaged and support their development.
This role gives you the opportunity to make a positive difference in children's daily experiences. Every interaction helps children feel safe, supported and included while giving families confidence that their children are cared for in a welcoming environment.
You work in a supportive team with hours that fit around the school day. Every day brings opportunities to build your skills, learn from experienced colleagues and gain experience in early childhood education and care. Your contribution is recognised through the trust children, families and colleagues place in you.
If you are energetic, reliable and enjoy working with children, this is an opportunity to be part of a team that makes a real difference in the community every day.
At Blacktown City Council, good people make great teams, and great teams build great cities. Here, you will find the stability and support to keep growing, along with:
