Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Xtreme Diesel Services Pty Ltd are currently seeking Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our team on a Casual Full Time basis for immediate start.

What’s on offer  

• 2:1 FIFO (from Perth) or DIDO 12 Hr shifts

• Casual Full-Time contract

• $70 - $98 per hour (Depending on Experience) + super on all hours worked

• Immediate start available

• On the job training and skill development

• Opportunity to work with heavy mining equipment

Tasks & responsibilities 

• Extensive knowledge on Hitachi / CAT/ Terex Large Excavators & Shovels

• Able to liaise with management teams & Assist with Planning

• Diagnostics on vehicles & equipment, including electrical and hydraulic systems

• Inspect, diagnose, service and repair of heavy mobile plant and equipment  

• Troubleshoot machine and components to determine causes of failures and repair requirements  

• Following health and safety procedures at all times  

• Provide on-site leadership to mechanical support staff  

Heavy Diesel Mechanic Qualifications, skills & experience 

• Heavy Diesel Mechanic Trade Qualification (Essential)  

• Previous field HD Mechanical experience ideally within mining, construction or earthworks 

• Current WA Driver's License (HR license preferred) 

• Successfully pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol screening 

• Obtain a satisfactory current National Police Clearance
