We are seeking an experienced and motivated Contract Administrator to join our Cairns-based team. Working alongside project managers, engineers and site teams, this permanent full-time position offers exposure to a broad range of projects and excellent opportunities for professional growth and career development. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will support the commercial, contractual and administrative delivery of civil construction projects from commencement through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer contracts and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

• Manage RFIs, EOTs, variations and contractual correspondence.

• Prepare progress claims and supporting documentation.

• Assist with procurement activities, RFQs and supplier engagement.

• Support subcontractor and supplier administration, claims and reconciliations.

• Assist with project reporting, meeting coordination and action tracking.

• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

About You

• Previous experience in contract administration within the construction or civil construction industry.

• Sound understanding of construction contracts, documentation and commercial processes.

• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, Teams and SharePoint.

• Current Driver Licence and Construction White Card.
