Arkular is looking for an exceptional design-led, technically experienced Architect or experienced Graduate of Architecture to join our Melbourne studio.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about great design, technical excellence, and creating an outstanding client experience. Someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects, communicating confidently with clients and consultants, and working collaboratively with a talented team to deliver beautiful homes from concept through to construction.

This is a hands-on role with genuine opportunities for growth and leadership as we continue to expand across Australia.

Arkular is an award-winning modular architectural studio creating beautiful, sustainable homes throughout Australia. We believe great architecture should be both inspiring and accessible, combining innovative prefabrication with thoughtful design to create homes that respond to the Australian landscape.

We deliver a variety of projects across the East Coast, from small to large passive-designed modular homes to eco retreats in stunning remote locations. Every project is different, and every project is an opportunity to create something exceptional.

About the Role

You will work across every stage of the architectural process, leading projects from concept design through documentation and construction.

·         Produce high-quality design and technical documentation in ArchiCAD.

·         Coordinate consultants and resolve technical challenges.

·         Build strong relationships with clients through clear, professional communication by phone, email and meetings.

·         Continuously improve the way we work by contributing ideas, systems and new skills.

We are looking for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, thrives in a collaborative environment and genuinely cares about creating great architecture.

You Will Bring

·         5+ years' experience as an Architect, or you are an experienced Graduate Architect ready for the next step.

·         ArchiCAD skills and confidence producing construction documentation.

·         Excellent technical knowledge, including the NCC, Australian Standards and consultant coordination.

·         Proven experience delivering residential projects.

·         Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to manage client relationships.

·         Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.

·         A collaborative mindset and a drive to create meaningful, buildable architecture
