Customer Service Officer - Mackay, QLD

We are looking for a technically minded and reliable Customer Service Officer to provide excellent service to our internal clients from our Mackay branch!

Trusted by your customers to provide great recommendations on parts and products; you’ll not only have technical knowledge but build relationships over time. Your support will be crucial role in helping customers keep their operations running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities

Responding to product and service enquiries via phone, email, and in personInterpreting customer requirements and identifying suitable parts, products, and solutionsBuilding strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholdersNavigating technical catalogues, drawings, and product information to ensure accurate recommendationsPreparing quotes, processing orders, and maintaining accurate customer and product recordsAdvising customers on pricing, availability, lead times, and alternative product optionsSupporting sales growth through product knowledge and solution-based recommendationsEnsuring customer requests are actioned efficiently and within agreed timeframes

Our Ideal Candidate will have

Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter or within a technical sales, customer service, or industrial environmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and cataloguesStrong customer service manner and willingness to provide an excellent experienceAbility to work autonomously while contributing to a small, collaborative teamPrevious exposure to ERP and/or other administration systems (like Salesforce or similar CRM systems)
