Spare Parts Interpreter / Reception

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Spare Parts Interpreter / Receptionist to join our team at Aussie Brake & Clutch in Caboolture, QLD. This full-time role is pivotal in supporting our automotive workshop and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our business.

What you'll be doing

• Providing exceptional customer service to both walk-in and over-the-phone customers

• Accurately interpreting and responding to customer enquiries about vehicle parts and accessories

• Promptly and efficiently processing orders and liaising with external suppliers

• Assisting the workshop team by sourcing and ordering required parts

• Maintaining detailed inventory records and stock levels

• Performing general administrative duties such as answering phones, greeting visitors, and providing clerical support

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar customer service or parts interpretation role within the automotive industry with experience in Brake & Clutch is an advantage but not essential

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

• Sound knowledge of automotive parts and components, including part numbers and cross-referencing

• Proficient in using inventory management and ordering systems

• A positive, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude
