About the role
Are you a NDIS Auditor ready to use your expertise differently? Audit Ready Consultants (getauditready.au) is growing and we’re looking for experienced NDIS auditors who want flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful impact.
If you’ve conducted audits under the NDIS Practice Standards and understand what actually passes - and what doesn’t - we want to hear from you.
This is not a permanent full-time job.
This is flexible, project-based consulting work for professionals who know the standards inside out and want to help providers get it right before audit day.
Why This Role Is Different
As an auditor, you’ve seen it all:
Policies that look good but don’t reflect practice
Providers who think they’re compliant - but aren’t
Governance systems that fall apart under scrutiny
Now imagine using that experience proactively.
Instead of identifying non-conformities, you’ll help providers prevent them.
Instead of writing findings, you’ll build solutions.
Instead of auditing one provider at a time, you’ll raise the standard across the sector.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work directly with NDIS providers across Australia to:
Conduct detailed gap analyses against the NDIS Practice Standards
Deliver mock audits and audit-readiness reviews
Identify governance, operational, and compliance weaknesses
Translate Quality Indicators into practical, real-world actions
Strengthen systems before certification and mid-term audits
Provide structured remediation guidance
This is hands-on, high-level compliance work.
Who This Is For
This role is strictly for professionals who:
Have worked as a NDIS Approved Quality Auditor
Deeply understand certification, verification, and mid-term audits
Know how auditors interpret the Practice Standards in real scenarios
Are confident working independently
Prefer flexible, project-based engagements
Maintain high professional standards and integrity
If you have not audited under the NDIS Practice Standards, this role will not be suitable.
The Structure
Fully remote
Contract / project-based
Flexible workload depending on availability
Australia-wide clients
Competitive project-based remuneration
This is ideal if you:
Want flexibility instead of fixed full-time hours
Are consulting already and want high-quality projects
Want to use your audit expertise in a proactive way
Value autonomy and professionalism
Why Join Audit Ready Consultants?
We focus purely on audit readiness.
No fluff.
No surface-level compliance that falls apart under scrutiny.
Our work is about building systems that genuinely stand up to audit and more importantly, systems that work in real life.
We partner with providers who are serious about doing things properly. Providers who want clarity, structure, and confidence - not shortcuts.
If you enjoy solving complex compliance problems, creating practical solutions, and turning messy systems into strong governance frameworks, you’ll thrive here.
Because when providers are audit ready, they’re not just prepared for an auditor. They’re better run, more confident, and better equipped to deliver high-quality supports to participants. That’s the standard we care about.
If you’re an experienced NDIS auditor who wants flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to strengthen providers before audit day - we’d love to hear from you.
Apply with your resume and a short summary of your NDIS audit experience.
