F9 Project Services is a specialist project controls consultancy based in Perth. We establish and run the planning, scheduling and project control systems behind major capital projects across mining, resources, energy and infrastructure — working with owners, EPCMs and Tier 1 contractors alike.
Our people are embedded on some of Western Australia's most significant projects. Our services span planning and scheduling, estimation, cost management, risk management, forensic delay and dispute analysis, and independent schedule assurance.
The Role
The Project Planner develops, maintains and monitors schedules across a portfolio of client projects. You'll be:
Building and updating CPM schedules in Primavera P6Analysing progress and performance data, and producing reports and dashboards for project stakeholdersWorking alongside project managers, engineers and contractors to identify risks, track milestones and recommend corrective actionsSupporting the implementation of project control methodologies aligned to client requirements and F9 standards
Location and Work Arrangements
Full-time, Perth-based. Depending on the client engagement, this may be:Hybrid — a blend of client site (Perth CBD) and work-from-homeSite-based FIFO or DIDO to regional Western Australia, on a rotation set by the projectRemote, where the client's delivery model supports it

What We're Looking For
Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining CPM schedules in Primavera P6 on major capital projects (>$100M total installed cost)Ability to interrogate schedule logic, critical path and float — not just update progressWorking knowledge of progress measurement, earned value and schedule risk assessment (QSRA an advantage)Experience within a Tier 1 contractor, owner's team or EPCM environmentClear communicator who can hold their own with a multidisciplinary team and present findings to senior stakeholdersFormal qualification in engineering, construction management, project management or a related discipline (preferred)Able to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

Communicate— A schedule nobody believes is just a file. Our planners are expected to hold a room, defend a critical path, and tell a client something they'd rather not hear.
Integrate— Planning doesn't sit on its own. You'll be embedded in the client's project team — engineers, cost, estimation, risk, construction — and expected to make the schedule speak to all of it.
Deliver— We're measured on the value we add through our work and if are able to influence decisons, not on whether the update was submitted on time.
