Crane Operator - OC, HR

About the role:

Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a qualified Crane Operator/Rigger to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Perth Metro commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. Experience with tower crane erection/dismantles and pre-cast/tilt-up panel erection is highly regarded.

This position will involve predominantly operating cranes up to 60t, while also undertaking rigging and dogging duties as required to support safe and efficient lifting operations across a variety of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

To be successful, you must:

• Hold a CN - CO ticket (mandatory)

• Hold a Dogging ticket (mandatory)

• Hold a Basic Rigging ticket (mandatory). Intermediate or Advanced Rigging tickets are highly regarded.

• Hold a HR Licence (mandatory)

• Hold a White Card (mandatory)

• Have proven experience operating mobile cranes, preferably within the construction industry

• Have proven experience performing rigging and dogging activities on commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects

• Be able to safely operate cranes for lifting and positioning equipment and materials on various sites

• Perform rigging duties including the assembly, installation, inspection, and use of lifting equipment and lifting arrangements

• Undertake dogging duties and direct crane operations to ensure safe and efficient lifting activities

• Participate in crane erection, dismantling, and major lifting projects where required

• Perform routine crane inspections and maintenance checks

• Adhere to all safety regulations, lift plans, and company policies

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient lifting operations

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times

• Have excellent communication skills

• Be highly reliable with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Competitive hourly rates in accordance with the Urban Cranes Pty Ltd and CFMEU (WA) Mobile Crane Hire Collective Agreement 2025-2028
