Director of Revenue - Shared Services

Purpose

As the Director of Revenue, you will oversee and enhance the performance of hotels within the designated portfolio. Leveraging your strategic insights and market expertise, you will identify and nurture opportunities to exceed targets, ensuring our hotels thrive and contribute to the company's overall success.

This position is available on a fixed-term basis as a parental leave cover.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and execute revenue optimisation strategies across all transient and group segments for portfolio hotels.
• Collaborate with General Managers, Operations, and Commercial teams to drive revenue maximisation and corporate alignment.
• Utilise core systems (IDeaS, STR Global, TARS, PMS) to monitor trends, produce statistics, and ensure forecasting accuracy.
• Evaluate group business suitability and profitability to secure the optimal market and segment mix.
• Lead, coach, and mentor the Shared Services revenue team to resolve operational challenges.
• Minimise distribution costs and drive room nights to branded channels while auditing system utilisation.
• Manage relationships with online market managers and external partners to maximise portfolio exposure.
• Implement pricing strategies and inventory controls to enhance yield and commercial results.

Skills and Experience

• At least 5 years’ experience in a dedicated Revenue Management role, preferably managing a multi-property portfolio.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Revenue Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams.
• Deep comprehension of revenue management principles, pricing tactics, and accurate forecasting.
• Proficiency in key systems, specifically IDeaS, STR Global, TARS, and property PMS.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A strategic, analytical mindset to challenge current strategies and identify new commercial opportunities.
