The opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with a structured and proactive approach to support the delivery of the City’s in-house annual civil construction program.

As the Project Support Officer for the City Construction team, you will be responsible for assisting with the establishment and ongoing support with civil projects, plans, corporate communications, schedules, procurement, milestones and program tracking and delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will posses:

• 3+ years demonstrated administrative support experience in project, financial, procurement, contracts and general construction related administration.
• Experience with project management, procurement, work order software (desirable)
• Effective coordination, organisational, time management, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office systems and packages and knowledge of Technology One software (desirable).
