About the Role

This role performs routine duties in the aged care industry which may include working as part of a team to meet the support needs of residents to assist them in the residential/community environment. An Environmental Services Officer (Support Staff) will do various tasks across cleaning, laundry, and catering departments.

Duties

• Utilising machinery to clean all floor surfaces to ensure safety.
• Vacuuming, mopping office and communal areas.
• Serving meals and ensuring a friendly, interactive experience for our residents.
• Ironing, folding, packing, loading/unloading of washers and dryers.
• Other general duties as directed.
• Ensure compliance with Jimbelunga Nursing Centre policy and processes.

Benefits

• Starting base rate is $29.98 per hour (depends on qualification and experience).
• Additional 12% Super + 25% casual loading.
• Permanent Part-time basis, working 06:00am to 1:30pm.

• Immunisation history showing you have received two doses of a Covid 19 vaccine is encouraged.

Requirement

• Highly Desirable Certificate in hospitality/ cookery or equivalent and aged care experience (Kitchen hand and server).
• Reliability and shift flexibility.
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Basic computer skills.
• Working rights in Australia.
• NDIS worker clearance (yellow card) or eligible to apply.
• Flu shot 2026.
