To Be Considered For Casual Childcare Positions, You Will

Hold a Diploma or Cert III of Early Childhood Education and Care or an equivalent recognized qualification.Have a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their learning, development and wellbeing.Have experience working in an early childhood education and care setting and demonstrate an understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).Provide engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences through play-based learning and intentional teaching practices.Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, respected and supported.Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.Support children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development through responsive and purposeful interactions.Have a sound understanding of child protection, health and safety, supervision and duty of care requirements.Hold current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification, or be willing to obtain and maintain these certifications.Maintain a high degree of professionalism, reliability and confidentiality.Possess well-developed communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive practices and the individual needs, interests and abilities of each child.Work effectively as part of a team and be flexible and adaptable in a casual relief capacity.Support the Jewish and Zionist ethos of Moriah College.
