MC Float Driver

Austek Asphalt Services is seeking an experienced MC Float Driver to join our team in Yatala, Queensland. This is a full-time role that will see you playing a crucial part in the delivery of our road construction and maintenance services across South-East Queensland.

What You'll Be Doing

Safely operate and maintain low loaders and other heavy haulage equipmentLoad and unload construction machinery unsupervised in an urban environment or remote areasPerform pre-start checks and basic maintenance on equipmentDeliver equipment and materials to job sites in a timely mannerAdhere to all safety procedures and traffic management plansProvide excellent customer service to our clients

What We're Looking For

A valid Heavy Vehicle (MC) driver's licenceConstruction Card Extensive experience operating low loaders and other heavy haulage equipmentStrong knowledge of load restraint and traffic management practicesExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsCommitment to safety and a proven track record of safe work practicesStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to undergo and pre-employment medical assessment
