Civil / Stormwater Engineer
Are you a Civil or Stormwater Engineer who enjoys being hands-on with design while also taking ownership of projects from concept through to delivery?An established and growing engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil / Stormwater Engineer to join their Sydney team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of civil infrastructure and land development projects while taking a lead role in project delivery and client engagement.
The RoleThis is a technically focused position where you'll remain actively involved in design while leading projects and mentoring junior team members.Key responsibilities include:Stormwater design and modelling for land development and infrastructure projectsCivil design for subdivisions, roads and associated infrastructureProject management and coordinationClient liaison and stakeholder engagementPreparation and review of technical documentation and reportsMentoring and supporting junior engineers
Current ProjectsYou'll be involved in a strong pipeline of work including:Master planned communities - bulk earthworks, roads and infrastructure deliverySmall to medium-sized residential, commercial and industrial subdivisionsLarge-scale data centre developmentsMultiple road infrastructure projects for local councilsSubstation and utilities-related developments
Skills & ExperienceDegree qualified in Civil EngineeringExperience in civil and stormwater design within AustraliaStrong knowledge of subdivision and road infrastructure projectsProficiency in some or all of the following:12d, Drains, MUSIC, TUFLOW, HEC-RASAbility to manage projects and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholdersStrong technical and problem-solving skills
