Appliance Repair Technician

About the Role

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with an immediate start available.

You will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repairing a range of domestic and commercial appliances across our service area.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing and repairing appliance faults

• Servicing and maintaining domestic and commercial appliances

• Attending customer homes, businesses and commercial sites

• Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard

• Providing professional advice and excellent customer service

• Communicating clearly with customers regarding faults, repairs and recommendations

• Completing job reports and service documentation

• Managing your daily schedule and workload

• Maintaining your company vehicle, tools and equipment

• Following all relevant electrical, safety and workplace procedures

About You

We're looking for someone who is technically capable, reliable and takes genuine pride in their workmanship.

Essential

• Previous experience in appliance repair, servicing or a related technical role

• Restricted Electrical Workers Licence – Disconnect/Reconnect

• Current Australian driver's licence

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively

• Professional presentation and a positive attitude

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Highly Desirable

• Experience repairing Smeg appliances

• Experience working across multiple major appliance brands

• Commercial appliance repair experience

• Relevant electrical, refrigeration or appliance repair qualifications

• Previous field-service experience

• Experience with ovens, cooktops, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers and other domestic appliances

Experience with other major brands is highly regarded. The ability to diagnose faults across different brands and appliance types will be a significant advantage.
