ABOUT THE ROLE

Based in Brisbane or Melbourne, you will be part of a collaborative, high-performing national team dedicated to delivering superior customer solutions.

As the Infectious Disease Business Development Specialist, you will focus exclusively on Infectious Disease, representing innovative product lines and building strong, meaningful partnerships with key customers across Australia. This is a national territory role, requiring regular monthly travel to engage with customers, attend industry events, and collaborate with suppliers.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Grow revenue and market share for Infectious Disease suppliers and product lines across Australia.
• Develop new market opportunities for emerging products, services, and solutions.
• Build and nurture strong customer networks including Key Opinion Leaders and major laboratories.
• Manage multiple strategic initiatives and visit both existing and prospective customers nationwide.
• Deliver impactful business development, sales, and technical presentations.
• Travel nationally each month to meet customers, attend industry events, and strengthen supplier relationships.
• Participate in commercial meetings, national training programs, and cross-functional planning activities.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in Salesforce and complete monthly reporting.
• Provide product demonstrations, basic customer training, and support evaluation strategies.
• Collaborate closely with the broader commercial and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business alignment.
• Share market intelligence, contribute to installation planning, and recommend improvements or new business initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

• Qualifications in Medical Science, especially with a focus on Infectious Disease.
• Relevant diagnostic or life science industry experience.
• Strong relationship‑building, communication, and project management skills.
