Casual - Operational Officer

Reporting to the Supervisor, with oversight from the Production Manager, you'll be an important part of delivering a reliable linen service to Queensland Health clients.

Key competencies (role specific criteria)

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:

• This is a manual handling position requiring you to:
• repetitive manual handling of laundry items
• feeding linen into machines
• handling linen items
• sorting soiled linen.
• Some workstations require the use of specialised PPE
• Demonstrated ability to effectively use automated machinery and some computerised equipment
• Ability to develop collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders and team members and ability to effectively communicate and influence staff.
