We’re now looking for a Store Manager to lead our Newport store. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, enjoys developing people, has a passion for great products and knows how to bring a team together to deliver outstanding results every day.
  
About the role
  
As Store Manager, you’ll take ownership of your store and play a key role in delivering a great experience for both customers and your team.
  
You’ll be responsible for:
  

• Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing retail team.
• Creating a welcoming environment where customers receive great service and product recommendations.
• Driving sales growth, profitability, and overall store performance.
• Managing day-to-day operations, including labour, stock control, and store presentation.
• Ensuring compliance with liquor regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Building a positive team culture where people feel supported, motivated, and accountable.
• Maintaining high store standards and ensuring the Bottle Stop brand is represented at its best.
• Taking ownership of your store and treating it like your own business.

  
About you

• Has experience leading a team in retail, liquor, hospitality, or another customer-focused environment.
• Is driven by achieving results and enjoys working towards commercial targets.
• Leads from the front and isn’t afraid to be hands-on.
• Has strong communication skills and the ability to build great relationships with customers and team members.
• Enjoys developing people and creating a positive team environment.
• Understands the importance of customer service, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Takes pride in presentation, product knowledge and delivering a great customer experience.
