Credit Analyst & Loan Processor

About the role

We’re looking for an ambitious Credit Analyst & Loan Processor to join our growing team at Shore Financial in North Sydney.

You’ll work directly alongside a high-performing mortgage broker settling more than $100 million annually, gaining exposure to property investment, construction, trusts, self-employed clients and portfolio lending.

We want someone who understands the fundamentals of mortgage broking and is eager to strengthen their credit knowledge, take on more responsibility and build a long-term career in loan processing and credit.

This isn’t a role where you’ll be stuck doing the same administrative tasks every day. You’ll be part of a young, driven and social office, working closely with brokers, clients and lenders.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage loan applications from document collection through to settlement

• Complete servicing calculations and lender comparisons

• Assist with structuring residential lending scenarios

• Prepare applications and supporting credit notes

• Communicate with clients, lenders, solicitors and other stakeholders

• Coordinate with our offshore support team

• Monitor the pipeline and keep clients updated

• Stay across lender policies and credit changes

• Help improve processes as the team continues to grow

Who we’re looking for

• At least one to two years’ experience in mortgage broking, banking, lending, credit or loan processing

• A good understanding of residential lending and the loan application process

• Strong attention to detail and organisation

• Confident written and verbal communication

• Someone proactive who takes ownership of their work

• A genuine desire to learn and progress within credit and loan processing

• Someone who enjoys working in a collaborative and energetic office

• Experience with ApplyOnline, SalesTrekker, FLEX or similar systems is beneficial

You don’t need to know every lender policy from day one. We’re more interested in finding someone with the right foundations, attitude and willingness to develop.
