Senior Sales Executive - Perth

This role is classified as Level 2 role under SBS Australia's current Enterprise Agreement with a base salary range of + $85,000 with a 40% commission structure. The successful applicant will be offered remuneration that is commensurate with their skills and experience and in alignment with this framework.

The Role

Reporting to the State Sales Manager, the Senior Sales Executive will play a critical role in driving cross-platform advertising revenue across SBS's digital and television products and maximising revenue opportunities within agency and direct client portfolios.

Key responsibilities include:

• Achieve sales, market share and revenue targets across assigned agency and direct client portfolios.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and deliver cross-platform, sponsorship and digitally-led advertising opportunities that meet client needs.
• Prepare and present proposals, media schedules, sales presentations and campaign solutions within required timeframes.
• Manage digital campaign activity, revenue pipelines and reporting, while supporting the development of the Sales Coordinator.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings:

• A minimum of two to three years' experience delivering sales and marketing solutions within media agency and/or direct sales environments.
• Established relationships within media agencies and a proactive approach to developing new business opportunities.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• Well-developed customer service skills and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience selling television and/or digital video will be highly regarded, but not critical

The Department

SBS Media is responsible for generating advertising revenue across SBS's television and digital platforms. The team works with agency and direct clients to develop advertising, sponsorship and digital solutions that help maximise SBS's revenue opportunities while supporting SBS's Charter, Vision and Values.
