About the role
Reach further with us
The Reclaiming Our Lives Program is a trauma-informed psychoeducational and therapeutic recovery program for women who have experienced Family and Domestic Violence (FDV). The program supports participants to better understand the dynamics and impacts of family and domestic violence, coercive control and trauma while strengthening resilience, self-awareness, safety, emotional wellbeing and recovery. Through facilitated group learning, reflective discussion and therapeutic activities, participants are supported to reconnect with their strengths, rebuild identity, strengthen parenting confidence and develop practical strategies for healing and reclaiming their lives.
As the Group Facilitator, you will provide intake and assessment, therapeutic support and group facilitation services to women impacted by Family and Domestic Violence through the delivery of the Reclaiming Our Lives Program and associated support services. The Group Facilitator provides trauma-informed, strengths-based and recovery-oriented interventions that enhance safety, wellbeing, resilience, healing and social connection while supporting women to understand and respond to the impacts of abuse, coercive control and trauma.
There are two contract opportunities ending 30 June 2027, based in Mandurah:
