Associate Business Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support the analysis, documentation, and improvement of business processes and system requirements. In this role, you will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to the delivery of effective technology solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to translate business objectives into clear, actionable requirements while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Analyst stakeholder objectives and the underlying issues arising from investigations into business needs, problems and opportunities. 
  
• Develop plans and select appropriate techniques at the appropriate level of detail to meet assigned objectives. 
  
• Provide advice and guidance to technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  
• Identify potential business benefits and options to realise business improvements. 
  
• Resolve problems in collaboration with teams and stakeholders and contribute to identifying alternative courses of action. 
  
• Appraise and verify new and update business outcomes to ensure they meet requirements and objectives. 
  
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gain commitment to business objectives.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for candidates with a combination of the following:   

• Demonstrated understanding of business analysis principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  
• Experience analysing business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  
• Ability to gather, document, and manage business and functional requirements.
  
• Experience developing process flows, business models, and supporting documentation.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  
• Ability to collaborate with business users, subject matter experts, and technical teams.
  
• Experience supporting requirements validation, prioritisation, and traceability.
  
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
  
• Proficiency in preparing business analysis artefacts and documentation using industry-standard tools.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced project environment.
  
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the required security clearance as part of the engagement.
