SENIOR BUSINESS ADVISORY ACCOUNTANT – PUBLIC PRACTICE – NORTH SYDNEY (Job ID 1377)

The Role: 

• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals and SMSFs 

• Preparing activity statements, payroll tax returns and FBT returns 

• Managing client relationships and liaising with external stakeholders 

• Delegating and reviewing work completed by junior accountants 

• Supporting and mentoring junior team members 

• Working with accounting software including MYOB, Xero and Class Super 

• Assisting with advisory work for corporate and family groups 

• Deliver high-quality accounting, taxation, and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio 

About You: 

• 6–8 years’ experience in Business Services / Advisory Accounting within an Australian public practice firm 

• Experience working with mid-sized to large clients 

• Degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline 

• Completed CA, CP, or ACCA qualification 

• Strong experience preparing financial statements and tax returns 

• Experience with MYOB, Xero and Microsoft Office (Class Super experience highly regarded) 

• Proven ability to review junior work and mentor team members 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidence in client interactions 

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
