Browns Plumbing is an established plumbing and gas maintenance business that has been servicing the Perth metropolitan area for over 30 years.

Due to continued growth, we're looking for either an experienced Maintenance Plumber or a capable 3rd/4th Year Apprentice to join our team.

We're open to the right person at either level. Whether you're already an experienced maintenance plumber looking for a long-term position, or a late-stage apprentice wanting to develop into a confident all-round maintenance plumber, we'd like to hear from you.

Our work is predominantly maintenance-based, servicing a broad range of real estate, strata, commercial and private clients throughout Perth.

No two days are exactly the same. Our plumbers carry out a wide variety of maintenance work, including:

• General plumbing and gas maintenance

• Tap, toilet and fixture repairs and replacements

• Hot water system servicing and replacements

• Blocked drains, jetting and CCTV camera inspections

• Gas servicing, repairs and installations

• Roof plumbing and leak repairs

• Backflow prevention and TMV work where qualified

• General preventative and reactive maintenance

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can represent Browns Plumbing professionally when dealing with our clients.

You'll ideally be:

• Reliable, punctual and well organised

• Friendly and confident communicating with clients

• Able to work independently while also being part of a team

• Comfortable using a mobile phone and digital job management software

• A good problem solver with strong fault-finding skills

• Motivated to produce quality work rather than simply rush through jobs

• Willing to follow company procedures and communicate with our office team

• Someone who takes pride in their vehicle, equipment and workmanship

Ideally, you'll have:

• Current WA Plumbing Tradesperson's Licence

• Current WA Gasfitting Permit

• Current WA Driver's Licence

• Previous maintenance plumbing experience

• Strong general plumbing and fault-finding ability

• Experience with blocked drains and CCTV equipment is highly regarded

• Backflow Prevention and/or TMV qualifications are advantageous but not essential

• Current Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one

We're also interested in hearing from 3rd or 4th Year Plumbing Apprentices who want to build a career in maintenance plumbing.

You don't need to know everything yet, but we're looking for someone who has developed good practical skills, can use their initiative and genuinely wants to continue learning.

You'll need:

• To be currently completing a plumbing apprenticeship

• Current WA Driver's Licence with reliable transport

• Good practical plumbing knowledge for your stage of apprenticeship

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Good communication skills

• Reliability and a strong work ethic

• A genuine interest in developing into a capable maintenance plumber
