Position Purpose

The Rostering Coordinator supports the delivery of safe, efficient and participant‑centred rosters for ITEC Health.

Working under general supervision, the role assists with coordinating worker skills and availability to participant needs, maintaining service continuity, and providing routine administrative support. The position works collaboratively with Customer Services, Clinical, Payroll and Billing to help ensure:

• shifts are filled in a timely manner
• rostering and attendance data is accurate for payroll and claiming
• the participant and workforce experience is positive

The role also participates in the after‑hours/on‑call rostering rotation, in line with established protocols, company policy and the SCHADS Award.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with building and maintaining rosters by entering and updating worker availability and shift details in the rostering system, under the guidance of the Rostering and Customer Services Manager.
• Action same-day changes (e.g., absences, shift swaps) as directed, and communicate updates to relevant staff.
• Participate in after-hours/on-call rostering as required, following clear protocols and under supervision.        
• Support the booking and confirmation of services, ensuring participant preferences are recorded and communicated.
• Maintain accurate records of worker availability, qualifications, and shift allocations in the rostering and time/attendance systems.
• Prepare and check routine data for payroll and NDIS claiming, referring any discrepancies to the manager.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements by sharing observations and suggestions with the manager.      
• Report any incidents, risks, or concerns to the Rostering and Customer Services Manager in line with policy.

Qualifications and experience

• ​Certificate III in Community Services, Disability, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.  
• Experience providing administrative support, including maintaining records and assisting with rostering or shift management in a care or community services environment (e.g., NDIS, disability, or aged care) including exposure to rostering or shift coordination.
• Understanding of NDIS Quality Standards and Human Rights, with a commitment to best practice in all client interactions. 
• Experience responding to routine enquiries and supporting service delivery under supervision.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with NDIS service bookings, codes or billing workflow is desirable.

• Willing to undergo the Nation Police Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check 
• Eligibility to work in Australia 
• Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
• Eligibility to work in Australia
