Surf Coaches Wanted at URBNSURF Sydney

Are you passionate about surfing and eager to share that passion with others? URBNSURF Sydney is searching for dedicated Surf Coaches to deliver high quality and exceptional surfing experiences for our guests.

Role Overview:

As a Surf Coach, you will play a vital role in helping our guests catch their first waves and refine their skills while facilitating their progression. You will help create unforgettable experiences in a vibrant, positive work environment where enjoyment is at the core of what we do. Join our team and share your love for surfing!

Qualifications:

• Required: Surfing NSW Foundation (Level 1) Coach, Working with Children check, First Aid, CPR, and Ocean Safety Certificate.
• Experience: We welcome both current surf coaches and those without prior experience; however, previous coaching experience, particularly in surfing or sports, is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

As a member of our Surf Academy, you will deliver engaging lessons for beginners at The Bays and more advanced surfers at The Point, in both group and private settings. Your role will include:

• Upholding the culture of URBNSURF Sydney by ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
• Keeping guests safe, motivated, and creating an enjoyable learning environment.

• Outlining lesson plans and expectations.
• Offering individual feedback and encouragement during sessions, ensuring each guest leaves excited to return.

Compensation:

• Pay is according to the Amusement, Events & Recreation Award – Grade 3 non-exhibition (Casual).
