About the Role:

As our Assistant Sous Chef, you will be responsible for leading the day to day operation of the kitchen, ensuring every dish is prepared to the highest standard. You will inspire and develop your team, drive operational excellence and play a key role in delivering the quality our guests expect.

• Lead all day to day kitchen operations across the Executive Lounge and Jin Bar.
• Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.
• Drive menu development, seasonal offerings and continuous improvement.
• Oversee stock control, ordering, food costs and waste management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP and workplace health and safety standards.
• Foster a positive, collaborative and high performing kitchen culture.
• Work closely with hotel leaders to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

What We’re Looking For:

• Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in a senior culinary role within a hotel, restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and support a kitchen team.
• Sound knowledge of food safety, HACCP and safe food handling practices.
• Experience with stock control, ordering and food cost management.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
• Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, or the ability to obtain one.
