About the role
We are seeking a high performing and innovative Principal Communications Advisor to join our team on the Gold Coast.
An exciting opportunity is now available for a Principal Communications Advisor to lead the Communications and Governance function within South Coast Region. This role will provide high level strategic and operational support to program managers delivering the Queensland Transport and Road Infrastructure Program (QTRIP) across the region. The Principal Communications Advisor will oversee a team responsible for coordinating communications, governance processes and stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring information is accurate, timely and aligned with TMR standards
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Required

Applies knowledge of community engagement best practice and relationship management, in a major infrastructure project environment, to deliver effective public consultation with stakeholders and the wider community that ensures positive community and departmental outcomes, while maintaining the department's reputation.Applies knowledge of government, executive correspondence, and best writing practice to develop, tailor and provide advice on ministerials, briefing notes and executive letters.Applies knowledge of public relations, corporate communications, and issues/reputation management to develop strategies and provide advice to establish and maintain mutual understanding between the department and its stakeholders.
