Process Specialist

This position is responsible for supporting the governance, design and continuous improvement of operational processes within assigned domains, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and business objectives. The role provides process expertise, operational insights and governance support to drive consistency, efficiency and sustainable business outcomes. Through data analysis, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement practices, the role helps maintain operational integrity and enable effective service delivery. 

Job Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Operations Management, Process Improvement, Project  Management, Commerce or a related discipline 
• Experience in process analysis, process improvement, business operations, or continuous improvement roles
• Demonstrated experience documenting and mapping business processes using recognised methodologies and tools
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop practical recommendations
• Experience working with a range of stakeholders to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies 
• Knowledge of operational governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks
• Experience supporting change initiatives and process implementation within a medium to large organisation
• Experience with process mapping and workflow tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Signavio, ARIS, or  similar) 
• Certification or training in Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Management (BPM), Continuous Improvement, or a related discipline is desirable
• Project management or business analysis certification (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, CBAP, BABOK, or similar) is desirable

Job Responsibilities

• Analyse, document and continuously improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, consistency, scalability and customer outcomes
• Support the implementation and maintenance of domain governance standards, process documentation, business rules and operational procedures   
• Collect, analyse and interpret process and operational performance data to identify trends, risks, data quality issues and improvement opportunities
• Investigate process-related operational issues, perform root cause analysis and support the implementation of sustainable solutions and corrective actions 
• Partner with business leaders, subject matter experts and operational teams to support process, governance and business improvement initiatives
• Support the delivery and adoption of process changes through effective communication, training and stakeholder engagement
• Contribute to continuous improvement and governance capability by promoting best practices, compliance and consistent
