As a Project Manager at Barclay Engineering, you will: 

• Client and Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, and subcontractors to ensure long-term partnerships.

• Project Leadership: Lead exciting, complex projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards while exceeding client expectations.

• Resource Allocation: Strategically manage labour, financial, and material resources to optimise project outcomes.

• Team Development: Mentor and empower a talented team, creating a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

• Quality and Compliance: Uphold quality assurance procedures, technical standards, and workplace safety requirements, ensuring compliance at every stage.

• Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, cash flow, and project variations to maximise profitability and deliver exceptional value.

What You'll Bring 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in project management within engineering or manufacturing environments.

• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of disciplines such as pipefitting, sheet metal, drafting, estimating, and commissioning.

• Leadership Skills: Excellent negotiation, assertiveness, and team-building abilities to drive project success.

• Commitment to Quality: A passion for delivering high-quality outcomes while maintaining safety and compliance.

• Project Management Knowledge: Proficiency with methodologies, scheduling tools, and financial controls to keep projects on track.

• Ability to Prioritise Conflicting Issues with complex problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
